clean sweeps

+ Congrats! Via method's Facebook page comes great news! - "method laundry detergent was chosen as a Good Housekeeping 2011 very innovative product winner + featured on Good Morning America. Get 30% off method laundry on methodhome.com when you use the code "goodhouse" (offer valid while supplies last).

+ Target is currently having their yearly "The Great Save Event" and this year you can find some cool method deals! Along with soap refills in sea minerals and sweet water, you can also find these three packs of their gel hand wash (also in sea minerals and sweet water.) And they're buy two, get the third one in the pack free! A great (Ah! So that's why they call it the Great...) deal, while it lasts! (Shout out to method luster Jon for the pic! Thanks, Jon!)

+ How many of you have seen the new method creamy hand washes at your local Targets? I know they hit a few Targets back in November, as I got some feedback from method advocates; but honestly I have yet to see them show up at any of my local Targets! (Which is weird, cause we usually get everything around here method wise!) So if you happen to see them, let me know!

+ UPDATE method had this little Q&A on their Facebook page recently. A little hint, perhaps? (Time will tell!)

Advocate: "Just wondering if method was going to make an all purpose spray using the clementine scent?"

method: "wonderful idea. i would tell you, but that would ruin the surprise."

Hmm!...

seal of approval!

I'm not sure if method's new laundry detergent will be carrying the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval any time soon, but those Good Housekeeping people sure are lovin' the new detergent! Here's what they have to say:

"method Laundry Detergent Pump Review by Carolyn Forte

By now, you've probably noticed a new, kind of out-of-the-ordinary detergent bottle in the laundry aisle of your favorite store. Slim, compact, and topped with a handy pump, Method's new 8x concentrated laundry detergent is making conventional detergent bottles look well, obsolete.

Say goodbye to messy pouring and accidental spills. And remember my advice about overusing detergent? With this new design there's no more looking for that virtually invisible line inside the cap. Simply pump in what you need; 2 squirts for a small load, 4 for medium, and 6 for large. Got a stain? Pump a little directly on it, too.

I've been using it at home, and simply love the convenience (and the neatness). Of course, being GHRI, we had to test its ability to remove stains, and we were impressed. The plant-based formula completely erased grass, egg, even ink from our cotton test swatches.

Suitable for both traditional and HE machines, the detergent comes in two scents, Fresh Air and Peony Blossom, and Free + Clear for those who prefer no scent at all.

Kudos to Method for thinking "out of the jug"!"

Pretty awesome, no? So what has your experience with method's new laundry pump detergent been? Love it? Hate it? Love it a little bit - sorta how you feel about olives? Hate it but secretly love it but you're passive aggressive so you pretend to hate it while really loving it and hoping one day it'll come around to realizing you really love it and are just pretending to hate it? (Oh wait, or was that me and my last boyfriend? I get everything so confused sometimes...) Comment away!
