poppin' up!

Finally! (I know, I'm very impatient!) New method products are starting to pop up at Target stores! The updated lemongrass bottles (now yellow, instead of the original stainless steel) along with new clementine kitchen hand wash (which has replaced the basil, at least at Target) are appearing. And a brand new laundry detergent in spring daisy scent is also now on Target shelves (an odd time to debut spring daisy, since it's fall - and unfortunately, they've clearanced my favoritest laundry scent ever, lavender cedar, to make room for the spring daisy! Sad face.)

I'm still waiting for the new Designed for Good hand washes to hit shelves (which are now available on method's website.) Let method lust know if you find anything new at your local store!

WTF? Lavender Cedar is going away? Huge loss there, especially for us guys that don't want our closes to smell like a sack of flowers... or should I say daisies in this case. Why Method?! Why?

I went to Target today and found three "seasonal" hand-washes; winter oak (amazing,)baked apple and toasted vanilla bean. I wonder if these are just for Target? The bottles are nice and simple, much different than the "graphic" ones on their website. I just hope they will have countertop spray....I'm on my last bottle of winter berry. I may have to resort to Caldrea again this year. Also picked up all remaining bottles of Lavender Cedar detergent :(

I got some of the foaming winter oak the other day! Love the pearlescent purple/bronze bottle, but seriously hate the shrink-wrapping. I read method's blog post and understand why they do it. It just feels cheap. Plus, all the shrink-wrappers are randomly placed on the bottles with no alignment (so the embossed logo is showing through the wrapper at a different place on each bottle) and because of that, when you "unlock" the nozzle, it doesn't always face forward :/

The vanilla has a rubbery/matte feeling cream wrap and the apple comes in red. Neither are as gorgeous as the purple/bronze. It shimmers and changes colors in the light. So nice.

As for the scents...I am obsessed with woodsy stuff. Every time i sniff the winter oak, part of me loves it and part of me hates it. The other two... I could care less about. Everyone and their mother does vanilla and apple scents.

Looks like Method has spruced up their website too. Much more striking and visually appealing.

I stopped by Target last night to return my Method Daily Shower Cleaner in the scent of Tuna in Spring Water. I don't know what Method did when they reformulated that stuff, but it is horrible now! Smells fishy to me. Now I have to find an alternative brand....

Anyway, no sign of anything new Method-wise. I see that Glad, Febreze, and Mrs. Meyers (Iowa Pine deliciousness has returned!) all have their holiday line out, but not Method.
