fabric softener sneak peek!

method luster Stephen sent me in this photo of his Target discovery! Looks like the new laundry bottle/lighthouse fabric softener has started to hit the shelves! Here's a pic of their new fresh air 50-load fabric softener (which appears to be just as concentrated as the new laundry detergent! 4 pumps = 1 load/50 loads!! Let me know when you start seeing them at a Target near you! Thanks, Stephen!

YAY! I can't wait to try this! I recently bought the new laundry detergent (Fresh Air and Peony Blossom) and I am in love!

Went to Target at lunch today and they had the new softener! I was shocked to see that it's only $6.99 for the large 50 load size! Can't wait to get home and do some laundry! LOL :-P

They didn't have any of the other new Method products yet.

Target in Fort Collins, CO had the new anti-bac products and lighthouse dish soap, but I didn't notice the new fabric softener. I picked up the big bottle of pumpable laundry detergent on clearance for $4 off, and also the tub n tile spray cleaner on clearance, and they finally had the violet bloom hand wash in.

I've been boycotting Target recently after they gave a large donation to a conservative anti-gay marriage candidate in Minnesota, but I finally broke down yesterday...

I forgot to mention that I live in Grand Junction, CO (we're almost neighbors Ryan!). Target supports anti-gay candidates? GRRRRRRRR!

I had to make the world's fastest Target run today (I had 10 minutes to pick out an outfit to wear for going out after work, insane) and I didn't get to go look at Method. But what is with this fresh current (currant?) scent? I hadn't seen any prior whispering about that new scent...

Sometimes I honestly (but with a little jest) wonder if you wonderful advocates actually read the posts I write. ;) Cause I'll admit I get quite a few comments about something that I've already written about. If you take a gander at the (rather long, I know! But I'm trying to inform everyone! Ha ha!) "New, New, New" post, you'll see I mention the fresh currant scent (along with the lavender cedar laundry detergent.)

Come on people, work with me! LOL :)

I've been using it for a bit, and I'll continue to say it's nice. Sorta a bright, fresh berry/cherry kind of scent.

My Target grouped all the new stuff together in their main Method section, from the Anti-Bac sprays and wipes, to the hand washes (including Fresh Currant), to the new Lavender & Cedar laundry detergent. The Tub & Tile spray is totally gone, I bought the last of the Cucumber and Aloe moisturizing hand wash, and the Water Flower foaming hand wash is indeed on clearance and hiding on an end cap (along with a truckload of Glade scented candles).

I'm just counting the days until the new "naturals" dish and hand soaps show up (and the holiday stuff, of course)...

I cannot find any of the liquid fabric softener anywhere! It is killing me b/c I had to buy some chemical one. ERRRRRRRR

Missy, it SHOULD be hitting Targets about now. My one Target got it in this weekend. But they appear to only be carrying the fresh air version (50-load) and it looks exactly like the new laundry detergent bottles, and is IN with the laundry detergent (at least at my Target) NOT in the fabric softener area.

Just an FYI.

Also, you should definitely be able to find method's fabric softener at your Lowes Hardware, in the cleaning supplies area (or on a method endcap, if your store has one.)

Thanks Aaron. I did not see the new fabric softener though I looked BUT I did see the new disinfectant line and bought the spearmint for the bathroom (hello toilet!) but it kinda smells like listerine. :/

Has anyone actually tried the new FS yet? Any reviews for it? I saw a review over on Garden Web (Laundry Forum) and it was not positive. Just curious what others think. It hasn't reached Canada yet.

Missy, I was thinking "Listerine?!" she's gotta be joking. Then today I used it for the very first time. HOLY CRAP, you're right. And there is no kinda about it. It's like straight cleaning Listerine. LOL I'm not so sure about that Spearmint scent, unfortunately (as I was REALLY looking forward to it!)

While I love the new laundry detergents, I am not a huge fan of the new softener. It just doesn't seem to do much as far as softening goes.

I might have to go back to my usual natural brand.
