surprise finds!

I've noticed my exclamation point over usage has seeped into my post titles now! They're everywhere! Everywhere, I tell you! Ah!)

I took a quickity-quick trip into Ross today (a store in the same vein as Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.) because I knew they carried clearance Target items every once in a while. Specifically Target brand candles, etc. So as I wondered down the candle/fragrance aisle, what did I stumble upon but some lavender + lemongrass candles! In the new glass bowls! Now, these were the old "hard to burn" formula, so I sorta passed, but they were only $2.99! Then I noticed around five cut grass aroma pills (the whole set, pill and refill) for a mere $4.49! And finally I saw two cinnamon bark aroma stick sets for $4.99 each! (A perfect find for the upcoming holidays! Especially since we won't be getting aroma sticks in this year's holiday line.) Wow!

If you have a Ross near you, a trip to the store might be in order! Let me know if you happen to find anything different, or what you pick up, method style! (You can also tell me what you pick up non-method style, but then I don't want you to think I'm straight up nosey, so really, you don't have to, alright? Cool.)

ebay candle + hand wash sets!

Ooh, more ebay goodies and deals! I thought this was a great deal, you get both a candle AND hand wash, for almost less money than just the candle cost in retail stores (and now with the aircare candles seemingly discontinued, it's an even BETTER deal!) - AND free shipping! Don't miss out!

+ method hollyberry candle and gel hand wash - $8.99 (Buy It Now Price) + FREE! shipping - Six sets available! (The candle comes in the holiday round ceramic candle jar. I love these jars, you can use them for so many different things once the candle is gone!)

+ method sweet water candle and gel hand wash - $8.99 (Buy It Now Price) + FREE! shipping - Three sets available! The candle comes in the regular ceramic candle jar.)

spit n' polish?

I have a confession to make. Are you ready? Ok, here goes. I lust me some method aircare! Capital L. capital U. capital S. and oh yes, capital T. It's the greatest! And I feel a really important part of that whole cleaning process! (Plus it just makes the cleaning even more fun, as even though all our wonderful method cleaning products have amazing scents; they don't tend to linger very long once the cleaning is finished. But some spritzes around the house of aroma spray, or a slowly burning candle keeps their wonderful scents wafting throughout your home all day long!)

Personally (and I'd love to get your thoughts on this, as well!) I don't think of aircare as a "occasional/not necessary" cleaning item. As I just said, I can clean my house up all spic and span great, but uhm, cats (and kids if you've got them) and all that stuff, well, it can leave your house not so great smelling! And that's where aircare comes in! Once your house is looking all grand from some omop mopping, and some all-surface squeaky cleaning, it's really the aircare (in my humble opinion) that keeps the clean going! Like those awesome aroma pills and rings that make my house smell luscious, constantly! And then throw in some aroma spray for those quick scent disasters, and a candle to not only add atmosphere to your house, but great MMMs, and it all comes together perfectly!

And you know what else, I'm shocked that this line within the cleaning aisles is so limited to only a few companies. Glade, and to a degree Renuzit, pretty much OWN the aircare aisles! I've never really figured that one out, because really, most times their scents do not win me over. "Rain Covered Mountains", "Springtime Showers", "Fruit Feista" what kind of scents are thoses?! (Ok, well, ones I just made up, but usually their names are rather close!) I'll stick with my lavender lemongrass, or vanilla apple method aircare, thank you. At least you know what you're getting (lavender, and oh yeah, lemongrass!) and that it's also great for the environment, and you!

+

But here's my question. Do you think it's time for some spit n' polish to the method aircare line? It seems to have been languishing for a bit, and I think it needs a slight shakeup! Honestly, within the last half year or so, the line has really slowly been restocked in my local Target stores for some reason; often times leaving big gaps in their aircare selections. And aircare used to feature four regular scents, along with (usually) a limited edition spring scent (and fall!) Now we've got three regular scents, and (at least this year) no limited edition spring.

Plus, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, as I LUST me some lavender lemongrass, but for the greater good of the line, I think it's time for a complete scent reinvention! Here's MY thoughts on improving the line:

+ Reduce. The aroma sticks have to go. I love them, don't get me wrong. But the price point is too high, we've all wanted method to provide sticks, oil, and a vase separately (which obviously they're never going to do. But OH, I saw that Target is now offering this in their candle aisle! Sticks, a little bottle of oil, and a vase; in different scents and shapes to choose from! Make your own aroma stick set! I love it! So it is possible, method! Ha ha!) Keep the aroma sticks as a holiday line item. That's where I think they work best.

+ The Trinity. I consider (and some of you lusters aren't going to like what I'm about to say) the Trinity of method aircare to be: candles, aroma spray, and pills. Like I mentioned above, the pills provide continuous scents to make your home smell great; the candles provide atmosphere and additional scent when you want it, and the aroma spray provides quick solutions to "disaster smells". LOL

+ But, I know lots of folks out there that love their aroma rings over pills, SO perhaps they should hold on to those as well (in bamboo? Better for the environment, and prettier!) Four items. Four scents.

+ Four new scents. I'm willing to sacrifice my favorite scents, if it means perhaps reinvigorating the aircare line by bringing in four new regular scents. These three they currently sell have been around forever! Ha ha! Time for something new! Imagine the possibilities!

+ Smooth sailing. The candles burn great once again! The aroma sprays work well (I'm still not completely sure about that o-ring; I lust that o-ring, and it's ease of carrying; but it just needs a small round notch cut out on the front bottom, because I'm always having to watch how I point the nozzle, or it'll hit that ring area attached to the bottle and run down the can; but whatevah...), and the pills have always rocked (especially the nightlite version!) And the aroma rings work way better than their original aroma capsules, so I think they've got a great line here. It's just time for some shimmy and shake!

+

Whew! So, what do you think? Am I out of line here? Or could the aircare line use a little spit n' polish? Do you use the aircare line? Do you think it's an important part of your overall cleaning process/keeping the house feeling, and smelling fresh? Comment!

ho ho ho flashbacks

Remember those times when you were a child, and you dreamed of all the wonderful trinkets, toys, and things dear ole' Santa Claus would bring you? Remember that magical feeling you used to get as Christmas and the holidays crept ever closer? Twinkling lights, hot cocoa, candy canes, Christmas carols, big packages, glittery wrapping paper (well, my mom still uses glittery wrapping paper! I think it's her way of trying to be "ok with me." Glitter = gay, well, at least in her books. Ok? And really, it's a sweet gesture (cause psst, glitter = gay. Well, ok, I may be biased!) Anywho, remember all those snowy, wintery, precious Holiday moments of our childhood?

And how now, as adults, we pretty much spend most of our time trying to relive our holiday past! Cause, seriously, life just blows as adults! Oh, what, sorry, am I bitter? Never.

Well, in much the same way (minus the blowing part. Cause method still rocks our world!), let's take a stroll back in method time! And check out two previous website images oh so long ago! Above is a shot showcasing the debut of their peppermint vanilla, hollyberry, and mistletoe line! Yeah, this image is old! Like when you were four years old, old. Except in method years. Which is more like cat years. Cause they're not that old, yet. (Well, they're more than four years old, but oh, you know what I mean!)

...And does anyone remember these? Holiday bundles promoting their peppermint vanilla, and hollyberry scents. They came in cute wire sink caddies! All packed up in adorable packaging, with a little candle (what their candles used to look like), or hand lotion. The copy reads:

"Fruitcake is not a biodegradable gift - Actually one of our summer interns checked on this so it's almost definitely incorrect. We're sending the fruitcake people a method sink set as a peace-offering. If you want to get on someone's good side, send them a set as well. Holiday sets are available in stores. The peppermint vanilla sink set is available online. Includes hand wash, hand lotion and a sink caddy."

Yeah, get this, way back when, they had two holiday scents, in hand lotion, a candle, and hand soap. NOW don't you feel special with all the scent and product choices you get during the holidays? I know I do!

Look for more flashback holiday method throughout the next couple weeks! When did you first discover holiday method? And what holiday scent/product was it you first purchased? - Ho ho ho!

holiday shout-outs

Some great comments (and compliments) on method's new holiday line, from around the internet-o-sphere!

Kelly over on Green Daily says:

"I'm a big fan of Method products. They list their product ingredients on their website and they smell fantastic. I'm completely aware that I am also a sucker for their packaging and their marketing. Finally, they're convenient as long as there is a Target or Whole Foods nearby. Just when I was getting bored with their current "flavors," Method has released fresh new scents for the holidays.

For a little hint of winter, try their 100% vegetable wax candle in a recyclable glass votive. This year's scents include toasted hazelnut, winter berry, spiced pear and frosted fir. [Scratch and sniff computer monitors would come in handy right about now.]

Three other great products for a delicious smelling home include Method's aroma sticks to diffuse scent into the room, a decorative potpourri ornament, and their "outlet free" bamboo aroma ring.

My favorite Method products are their hand soaps. Method has extended their seasonal scents to their non-toxic, triclosan-free hand wash. I keep one bottle by every sink in the house. It is the ANTI anti-bacterial answer.

If you can't decide on which products to buy, Method has made it easy for you by combining all of their offerings in one kit with a reusable shopping bag for only $32. There is no excuse to not get into the holiday spirit with these earth friendly products."

+

While a poster over on a Disneyland forum (of all things!) says:

"The new Method soy candle called Frosted Fir smells exactly like flying over the snowy mountains in Soarin' Over California!! I even held it up to dd's nose and said, "Quick, where have you smelled this before?" She answered correctly!"

ketchup, anyone?

Every once in a while, I'll be sitting at the dining room table, twiddling my thumbs, and decide I need to dream up new ways to use empty method ceramic candle jars! (I mean, don't you do this? Everyone sits around and suddenly decides they need to come up with new uses for candle jars, right? Right! Ok, whew, good. I'm glad you're in agreement. Yes, yes, total agreement. Total...)

One of my favorite new ways actually happened by accident! I had been meaning to purchase some new baking soda for the refrigerator, to keep it fresh and the food great tasting; BUT decided I didn't want to sit the box in the fridge anymore. I wanted to find a "classier" way to do it. (it's a gay guy thing, automatically attempting to "class" up everything! No, seriously, it is. I swear it.) So I decided I wanted to pour the baking soda into a container, but couldn't find anything that really worked around the house - until I stumbled upon my empty ceramic candle jars! TADA! Classy, simple, keeps the fridge fresh, and no tacky open Arm & Hammer baking soda box (and yes, I know they have those stick up "smoke alarm" looking ones, but hello, they charge you an arm (ha ha, get it Arm & Hammer, oh I kill me) and a leg for those things, when you can buy a simple box of baking soda for sixty seven cents!)

Then, looking over to the fridge door, I saw all these packets of ketchup strewn about, and went DING-DING! In another jar they went! All nice and clean, leftover ketchup from all the random food take-out places, not wasted, ready to use, and hey, now I don't even have to buy any ketchup (they always throw so many packets in your bag! That, and oh yeah, I'm a frugal kind of guy. Frugal. Which really = poor. But Frugal sounds so much more pleasant, now doesn't it. Almost like you're poor, in France! Oh, now I feel all snooty. Poor, but snooty!)

Give'em a try, or come up with your own ways to use those empty candle jars! (I know you got like, a zillion. We all do! Cause we lust us some method candles! Ah, yes...)

at the office

My work office is kind enough to actually let me bring candles into work if I so wish. (As long as I watch it REAL well.) We're a really small company, and it's one of the odd perks I get to have. A candle at work! I lust me some candles! (In fact, I currently have a method fig candle at work. I'm always bringin' my method candles with me!)

I've also managed to sneak in some method lavender hand wash, and put it in the bathroom. They are really big into "whatever's cheap", which usually equates to nasty Soft Soap sitting in there. So in one of the two bathrooms we have, I replaced it out with my method lavender! I've even refilled it twice when it went empty. I know it's on my own buck, but hey, it brings me enjoyment throughout the day. Wait, is that like, really sad? I mean, my daily enjoyment is coming from hand wash? Hmm, let's just move on from here, ok. Nothing to see...

So here's my question! Have you integrated any method into your work office? What's on your desk? method hand lotion? (I even brought in some old school method signature scent (otherwise known as sweet water, at least it smells exactly the same to me) hand lotion from their first lotions line WAY back when, and let a female co-worker put it in the women's bathroom. So I guess it's still there, don't really have a way to find out. I also brought in some lavender hand lotion from the same line, and left it on my desk for a while. It finally went back home with me, but it might make a return trip now that colder weather is on the way!) Let us know if you've methodized your work space/office!

when is a candle not a candle?

Alright, so if you've been reading, you'll know some lusters have been having issues with method's new aircare candle. We all lust it like crazy, but the glass jar (as adorable as it is!) ends up being too big for one wick, so the candle doesn't quite melt like it should.

I mentioned what I was going to try and do was melt the candle down, pop in a new wick, and burn it from there. WELL, I tried that. And ya know, I don't believe I have a "candle thumb" (ya know, like green thumb, but for candles, and such and oh well, it's late, ok...) because I tried this, and it pretty much failed. It burned, but since the wick was no longer glued to the bottom of the jar, it sort of fell to the side after a while, and the melted wax poofed it out. Sniff. No more candle!

Now, you see the pic above, right? Well, that was AFTER I had melted the candle down, and tried to do the wick thing. The candle burned straight down the middle, I pushed all the wax down to the bottom, and melted it. But the wick replacement surgery didn't work, so what was a method luster to do?

Hmm!

Awesome reader Rebecca was SO sweet (and I haven't even thanked her yet via email! THANK you so much Rebecca!) She decided to give away her method aroma beads, and the bead ceramic thingy to me, so I could finally experience aroma beads (as I'd never bought them before! Shh, don't tell anyone.) So nice of her! Well, I was sitting there with my melted down candle, and ding ding! I decided to scrape some of the candle out of the glass jar with a simple spoon, place the candle bits onto the ceramic uh, thingy (that melts down the aroma beads. What IS that thing called?) and pop a tea light in, and away the pomegranate candle bits melted down all nice and fragranc-ey! Yay!

What a cheap person won't do, right? I know, I know. But seriously, I think method might really have to rethink this one wick thing. I LUST the new glass jar, just pop in another wick, and it's all fine method, all fine.

aircare extreme makeover!

Come on... the return of aroma enhancer sprays, new smarty dish cubes, marine naturals body wash and scrub, pomegranate tea and gingerbread + spice fall edition aircare scents, new squeaky green laundry detergent and dryer cloths... and more! Oh my word!

That's not enough, is it? Nah, not really. I mean, come on, it's method's eighth year birthday month! We're not playin' around here! Let's celebrate! How about a brand new aircare line makeover! SHO'nough!

Get ready, I just got some mind blowing news tonight about some amazing new aircare items and redesigns we'll be seeing very shortly in stores! Many lusters have already noticed the clearancing of the method aircare candles, and oddly, the lavender + lemongrass pill set, and more! What's going on here?! Well, never fear, it's great news! Are you ready? Are you sitting down. This news is so big, I had to release it over the weekend (and I never do that!) I'm so excited!

Alright...

+ First, method's candles are heading back to glass containers (I'm not sure if they'll retain their iconic Karim design/shape, we'll have to wait and see! I'd be surprised if method changed this, BUT I also know they like to constantly shake things up, so who knows!) They've decided to go back to glass (the candles originally came in glass, before redesigning the line, and using ceramic) since glass is actually recyclable, and ceramic unforunately is not (but they make great dessert cups!) So look for all your favorite candle scents back soon, in glass containers!

+ Method is doing a new test concept for their aroma rings! Specifically in the sweet water scent (are you ready for this??) the ring will be made out of bamboo! OH my word! I hear it simply rocks! And looks SWEET! Bamboo aroma rings! Not plastic! I can't wait! One more exclamation point! There you go.

+ And a biggie (a lot of people have been wanting this) they are re-releasing the lavender + lemongrass pill set (no, lavender + lemongrass is not being discontinued! Hallelujah! It's my favorite!) in a nightlite concept! HOW COOL is that! I can't wait! Oh, wait, I already said that!...

+ The aroma pills will now have single and twin refill packs. So you won't have to purchase two at one time, if you don't wish to! They used to be available in single; then went to only twin; and now they'll be available in both!

+ Look for aroma sticks (in their new streamlined vases!) to come in sweet water, lemongrass + lavender, and now vanilla apple.

+ The four main scents are: sweet water, lemongrass + lavender, vanilla apple, and citrus cilantro.

+ The fall scents will come as follows:
Pomegranate Tea - single pill refill, air enhancer spray, candle, aroma ring refill
Gingerbread Spice - pill refill twin, air enhancer spray, candle

The candles, bamboo rings, and aroma air enhancer sprays are heading to stores as I type this! The rest will play catch up! How excited are you? I can't... no, I won't say it again. (psst, I can't wait!)

NO, I don't have pics at the moment, but as soon as I can get my grubby little hands on some, I'll post them pronto! You know I will. I take care of my own kind! Let method lust know if you start seeing any of these items hitting your very own store shelves!

copycat

Katherine Farkas, are ya' listening?

Ok, so today I went to KFC (I know, I KNOW! Don't even, let's just move on) to give their new smoky chipotle chicken a try (end result, I'd suggest you don't try. Ha ha. Nah, it was alright. It was what you expect, from fast food. And YET, I never learn my lesson.) Anyway, for the second day in a row, it was going to be sixteen minutes before the chicken was done (man, it must be popular at the moment, though!) And while yesterday I just left and went elsewhere, today I decided to stick it out, and waste sixteen minutes until my smoky chick-chick was ready. So I headed on over to the nearest Kmart (GAH! Target was too far away.)

Now, what do gay guys do in Kmart when they have to wait sixteen minutes for smoky chipotle chicken, you ask? They go search out the candle section, of course! Mmm! And WHAT do I find? Kmart has totally ripped off method! I was shocked! Right there on an end shelf sat candles, in four scents: lavender tea, sweet pea, apple blossom, and some other scent I can't remember because seriously, they stunk. But no joke, they were sitting in the iconic Karim Rashid method ceramic cup! I mean, it was a total copycat. It wasn't near as well done, and it was a vaguely antique white, with this horrid scribbly flower painted on the jar; but it was THE method cup! I checked the bottom, and they were made especially for Kmart. I'm curious if method (or Katherine Farkas, designated natural-law protector of method's patents and trademarks) knows about this.

Again, I did not have my camera on me. Sigh. I should sneak it in and get a pic!

This brings to mind another time, this was probably a year ago, way before method lust (there was a "before method lust?" Wha? How did I live?) that I stepped into a drug store (I can't remember if it was a CVS, or Eckerd, or what it was? Darn!) and was roaming around, and noticed they had these soap hand washes in the exact teardrop bottles that method has. Again, I was like NO way, they ripped method off! I'm not sure if these are still around or not, I haven't been back there in ages.

But it brings to mind the knowledge that, yeah duh, I know people love method; but hello, who knew method was SO popular, and that ceramic cup so hip (ok, well, we did! But alas...) that other companies had decided to mold their own versions of method's packaging! Have you ever found method packaging that wasn't method?

Go get'em, Katherine!

fill 'er up

No, we're not talking gas here (please, don't get me started!) But moreso, something I'd discussed way back when (cause you know, this blog is already like three and a half months old, and in blog terms that's like forever! Three and a half months is also like forever in gay relationship terms! OH! I'll be here all week, I hear the veal is really good! Hey, I can say that, cause duh, I'm gay; and it's not really true, anyway (just some stereotypical statement, imagine that? Whoa, horsey! I'm really getting off topic here... MOVING back...)

Ok, where was I? Oh yes, I'm talking about all those great Karim Rashid designed candle jars you have sitting around, once the candle gets used up. What do you do with those? Fellow method lust reader Kelli asks:

"On a totally different matter - what do you do with your empty candle jars? I hate to just toss them so right now I have them sitting waiting for another use. I can't bear to toss them in the trash. I'd love to know what others do with them."

Way back when (see, and you didn't think I'd get back to that statement, did you? I'm good, I tell ya, good!) I did a short post here on a friend that literally uses them for mugs for his tea (after washing them out really well, of course!) They're just ceramic, and method is people friendly, so I feel it's safe to use them for dishware.

I personally am currently using one of the cinnamon bark candle jars (which are designed different from their main line, I think to differentiate holiday from everyday) for coins. I just throw my extra change in there at the end of each day. It's like a method piggy bank!

I think they'd make great tealight or votive candle holders, as well!

I also use my old aroma reed diffuser bottles for showcasing lavender sprigs in my bathroom. I also did a short post on that here.

So tell us, how do you use your empty method ceramic bottles and jars? How creative do you get? What do you think you COULD use them for?

beach sage applause

Here's a review on the special edition Beach Sage candle from method:

"I'm a big fan of method's line of home cleaning and air freshening products. I don't usually buy their candles, though, because they are smaller and more expensive than those made by my favorite local candle shop. As I checked out the newest scent offerings in the line last week I found myself absolutely delighted with their beach sage fragrance. I decided to splurge and buy myself one of the method beach sage aroma soy candles.

These candles come in a simple and modern-looking white ceramic container that easily fits into any room. method's web site makes it a point to state that their candles are made from renewable, natural soy. They use cotton wicks rather than lead ones and produce 90% less soot than the average candle. method used to claim that their 6 ounce soy candles would burn for 40 hours but they have since removed that claim from the packaging and company site. This product shouldn't be burned for more than two hours at a time according to the label under the label on the bottom of the ceramic container.

The method beach sage fragrance is strong, herbal, and very true. I'm not really into herbal scents but I adore the aroma produced by freshly-chopped sage. This aroma soy candle smells exactly like that scent and I just love it. All of method's beach sage packaging states that this is a "special edition fragrance". I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this scent probably won't be available come September, October, etc.

I usually burn candles for a few hours each evening as cook, clean, etc. I decided to burn my method beach sage aroma soy candle in the kitchen because someone who will remain nameless (who is engaged to me and whose job it is to take out the garbage each night) had neglected to do so, which meant the kitchen smelled a little funky. In less than ten minutes, the entire kitchen was filled with a strong and lovely sage scent. Twenty minutes later, the fragrance had permeated into the front room, into the bathroom, and down the hallway. This candle is very strongly-scented.

The method beach sage aroma soy candle burned very cleanly and didn't produce any smoke or black soot buildup inside of the ceramic jar. I own three parrots who are very sensitive to fumes, smoke, and chemicals. I like the fact that these candles burn so cleanly because I can use them in the house without worrying about harming the birds.

The one disappointment that I had with this candle was short burn time. As I mentioned earlier, method used to claim that you could get 40 hours out of their aroma soy candles. I've been through two now and I think I've gotten about 10-15 hours out of each one. They just don't seem to last very long, despite the fact that I trim the wicks and keep the candles out of drafts.

I have been very happy with the method beach sage aroma soy candles that I've used. They have a wonderful, strong scent and they burn very cleanly. I initially bought just one as a little treat for myself, but I picked up two more several days later because I liked it so much! They aren't cheap and they don't last all that long, but I really like these candles and will probably buy a few more before this special edition scent disappears from the shelves.

Has anyone tried the special edition citrus cilantro? Would you like to submit a review?

method retrospect

method premium candles + method original scented candles

Time for another method retrospect! Where we take a moment to remember those wonderful products that came before our true obsessions began (is that possible? Were we not there for it all? Well, only you know, only you know!) Today we're featuring two candle lines that came before the current aircare collections.

First up were the originals! these were 5.5 oz scented candles (you can see them to the left, in the above photo.) and came in simple round glass jars. They featured a few fragrances including Sweet Water (which is still around in the current aircare line), Gardenia (a lush, deep floral scent), Creamy Vanilla (mmm, smells like cake!), and you know I swear there was another one! I know, I'm letting you down, but I do not own the other candle, so if you know of it drop me a line! I want to say Pink Grapefruit, but I bet I'm wrong there! red currant, and pink grapefruit! They also released a Hollyberry scented candle, in it's first incarnation, in this original line; as well as a Snowy Days scent during the holidays way back when!

The second line was the method premium candle collection! These candles were NOT sold at Target (pause for shocked expressions, and breathless silence!) but were only sold at Linens N' Things, and on the method website. These were great, touting themselves as "premium fragrances to fill your home - Home Smells Good"; they came in a 10 oz. size. There is an open version of one of these in the photo, as well as the boxes for them, to the right. They had a large variety of fragrances for these, including Fresh Laundry, Crème Brûlée, Fresh Lime, Apricot Basil, Chocolate Martini, Spiced Berries, He Brought Me Flowers (of course, a floral scent), Rose Petal, and perhaps a couple others. I know there was one that, again, I want to say was something like Vanilla Latte? But I'm not sure... if you know, let me know and I'll add it to the "method scent heaven" list. The box from the Spiced Berries scent says "The fruity aroma of plums and berries mingle with rare spices. Awaken your senses and comfort your soul. Sweet and sophisticated - like a very good date. Or spouse. Or cocktail dress. The list goes on."

Not every Linens N' Things carried these, just select ones. To be honest, I never saw these until they had been discontinued, and ended up at a Tuesday Morning store! The cashier must have thought me crazy, cause I bought one of almost every scent, all at one time! I was so excited to find them! Did you purchase either of these products? What were your thoughts on them?

UPDATE I've gotten information from some wonderful readers letting me know that the fourth original candle scent was indeed Pink Grapefruit; and also that Paris Rain was another scent in the Premium candle line. Thanks for the info.!

beach sage is here!

Great news! I just stopped by my local Target (no surprise there!) and the new aircare lines are starting to show up on the shelves! Not only were the citrus cilantro special edition items out, but also the double packs of the aroma pill refills, cut grass aroma sticks; AND something I had not seen before, method has also released another special edition candle in Beach Sage scent!

So if you love the Beach Sage scent in the bloq body care line, well, this is the same exact scent; in a beautiful pale blue/grey candle! As soon as I can I'll get a photo up here. (I have yet to figure out how to take a photo with my cellphone, and get it to a computer. Aren't you now amazed I can actually post to a blog all by myself?) And I wanted to take in a digital camera and start flicking pics of the new shelves, but thought that might get the Target police on my rear, so I decided not to. But as soon as I get a photo, it will be here! MMM, go, get! Enjoy!
