party time?

So here's an idea I'd like to hear your thoughts on! I was reading up on something method has done called the "method home detox party." Now mind you, I didn't have much to go on, just that method has thrown these every now and then. BUT it got me to thinking? What if people threw method detox parties, in the same style as say, Tupperware parties? Would that rock, or what?! I mean great friends, delicious cocktails, nibbles, and only the best cleaning products in the world! Rooms would be burning method candles, which would be permeating scents throughout the house! Test out aroma sprays (when they return!) You could pass around bottles of cleaner sprays to smell, while giving demonstrations on glass and wood surfaces in the room! Pass around body lotion to try, hand washes in the bathroom to test! You could give small discussions on the problems with antibacterial products, and bleach, etc. And prizes at the end (winner receives aroma sticks, anyone? Or a method t-shirt! Even a reusable method tote full of goodies!)

You could have method games! Pictionary, except you draw dirty things and clean things! Oh the fun, fun, fun! I think this would be a great idea! And hey, if you wanna go INSANE, you could all even take a trip to Target/your favorite method store afterwards to stock up on your new method favs!

What do you think? Unusual, yes! Fantastic fun, it sounds like it to me! Hmm! Would you be interested in throwing one of these method detox parties? What fun ideas do you have to add to this list? Games, how to present the products, etc? Something quirky to do, to get the word out!

And hey, just to get us started, here's a cocktail recipe to serve at your detox party, from method's Detox Seattle site!

method Mojito* (yum!)
1 heaping tablespoon organic cucumber
1 heaping tablespoon of diced organic lime
1 heaping teaspoon organic Agave nectar
6-7 torn mint leaves
1 1/2 ounces Square One Organic Vodka
All natural Fever Tree sparkling bitter lemon soda

Muddle cucumber, Agave nectar and mint leaves in tall glass. Pour in vodka. Top with soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint or lime wheel.
