Ugh! You know what irritates me even more than watching someone get five plastic bags at a retail store, one for every item they purchase (because cashiers nowadays don't know how to bag properly!) It's when cashiers use plastic bags AS paper wrap in order to "protect" glass/ceramic items from breaking. So NOW not only do you have five plastic bags, but the six ceramic mugs you just purchased are each wonderfully nestled in their own evil plastic bag cushions. That's seven plastic bags, for six ceramic mugs. And that's just one of the five bags you got from the cashier! And they're all going right in the trash when you get home. (Did I just witness this, yes I did.)
I mean, whatever happened to tissue paper, people!
