change o' heart

UPDATE Two days left to throw your name in the hat to win a free method aroma ring (sans fragrance disc, but those are so easy to buy! Plus that way you get to choose which scent you'd like most!) So what's holding you up, comment below and enter!

During my trip to Florida I walked into my best friend Rich's apartment, and sitting right there on his side table was the new method bamboo aroma ring! I immediately mentioned it, to which he exclaimed "I just KNEW you already had one!" I responded that, actually, I did not at this moment have one. Explaining my thoughts on how the aroma ring just didn't work for me.

Well, during my three day stay, let me just say I had a change of heart towards the aroma ring. Because he not only had the bamboo ring, but in fact, there were around five rings throughout the house. Three in the living room, one in the bathroom, one in the bedroom, etc. And his house smelled fragrantly of mingling sweet water, cut grass, and vanilla apple! He has a smaller place than I do, so I guess method really is right when they say the aroma ring is made for smaller rooms. Because it was working up a storm in his apartment!

So if you haven't already given them a try, now might be the time to do it. Especially with the limited edition bamboo ring currently in stores.

IN fact, how about this. I have three aroma rings! And I'd like to give two of them away (these are the white plastic rings.) Unfortunately, they are only the rings, no refills. (But those are easy to purchase in Target! Try the pomegranate tea scent, Heavenly!) So here's the thing? How would you like me to send you one of these rings? If you're interested, just leave a comment telling me why you need an aroma ring (nothing too detailed. Just something whimsical, fun, short to the point.) and an email address. And I'll choose two people to send aroma rings their way! "Contest" ends October 4th, 2008.

Nate, I would love one of the aroma rings. I have one and it fills up my apartment with sweet water glee. Any method-love is much appreciated!

Nate, you have been my eyeopener to method. I have been scouring my area for method stuff on your suggestions. Your site is great. If I am so chosen to get an aroma ring I will carry on your tradition of spreading the method around.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Nathan, I would love to be a contender for a free aroma ring. I never tried one because of the mixed reviews that I have read about them and most of it has been negative so I have passed over this particular air freshner. However, if it is given to me at least I can try it out for myself and I will send you my personal review of it and let you know if it becomes one of my regular method purchases.

Hi Nathan i just randomly stumbled across your blog and I have never tried any of the method's products so I think aroma ring would be a good way to start my conversion into being loyal method follower:)

I love my aroma rings. Right now my bedroom smells like pomegranate tea. I was surprised how much it smelled like actual pomegranate tea, all of my friend were able to guess the fragrance correctly.

method should make wallaper for your computer. With all of their beautiful packaging it would be pretty, I think.

I don't think I commented about this before, but I would love to have an aroma ring. Why? Well, lets put it this way-my husband loves er...beans. Occasionally I have to use the bathroom after him and would like to not walk into a gas chamber to do it!

i would love a bamboo aroma ring. I too was skeptical at first, but I picked an original one on clearance at Target. One works great in my bedroom. Love it. Bamboo would look lovely in my family room!

Nathan...I discovered your blog a few weeks ago when googling about the cut grass scent (which by the way is my allllll time favorite scent. It hurts my heart that method didn't have any grass pills this year at target). I'm totally addicted to method and now I'm totally addicted to your blog! I sooooo need this aroma ring. Thanks to your blog, I want to do a "stained glass" window of aroma rings...so I'm gonna need a few! One from your collection is a start!

Nate--my boy commented last night on a lingering aroma in my car. I chalked it up to being a quirky old car and said something like, "Oh, it's a Volvo, these things always smell bad." But come to find out, one of my lovely "friends" left a Taco Bell taco under my passenger seat. I have a feeling this repulsive animal byproduct concoction has been in my car since August--however, surprisingly, it looks not too different than how I imagine it looked on the day of its creation. Its shell is soggy but still intact. Wanna trade?

James, have you checked Big Lots near you? (Do you have those?) They've had a bunch of the cut grass aroma pills, and refills for a while now (from the ones that didn't make it to Target this year.) Check'em out! :-)

Nathan! I've been on a Big Lots witch hunt...drove even an hour away to find them. I've only found them at one...got 6 candles and 6 pills. So there's my vault ;) But must feed method addiction. Six pills...not enough!
